I'm at 1 1/2....
any ideas on how to make this thing happen faster???? (and Dave already told me he's not "just a piece of meat")
Dave's not a piece of meat?!? How disappointing.
girl, you're at that stage!!!! ask janie, cause whatever she did worked :D She was 17 days early-- here's to hoping :D
just let him know that he is in fact a piece of meat until told otherwise
I'm convinced that they come when they're good and ready. (They're getting us ready for their childhood.) I tried Castor oil, walked miles, and all the other unmentionables. Nothing ever worked! I know that at this point in the game, nobody better put forceps within your grasp. Good luck!
Wait a little longer. A month early is too early. You do NOT want to deal with the whole NICU experience.
No idea. I never even made it that far (remember the douchey doctor comments from early pregnancy? Those turned into doozies like "wow, it's like you're not even pregnant!" after checking my cervix at 38 weeks. Ew, I just said cervix. Sorry.). The scheduled c-section is not necessarily a bad thing. :)
hey, is just saw my name on your link-able list-- I'm moving up in the world :)
Double dutch? Roller Blading? Can you tell I've never been pregnant?
Sarah, I thought I had put you there months and months ago. I was appaled to see you missing!
I did it all: sex, spicy food, walking, elliptical machine, more sex, stripped membranes, I don't know what actually did it. I read forums on-line every night about inducing labor naturally. But to be honest when the c-section was looming I wished that I had done nothing. Oh and I would avoid the castor oil - I hear that more women have 24-48 hour diarrhea than do go into labor. And if you do go into labor your baby can have painful diarrhea for the first couple of days of life. And it can increase the chance that they pass the meconium before birth. Too much risk if you ask me... I feel your pain though...
Well..I tried almost everything under the sun to make mine come early..and well..since they were all boys..all I can say is that boys are stubborn and he will make his appearance into this world when he is good and ready...I wish I could tell you something more to speed it up...just hang in there and walk and have sex a lot.....have you tried a bumpy car ride?? Just an idea..I tried it with my last child...Good luck and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
have sex and if that can't happen, go for a brisk walk. gets the body moving and gets the baby moving too.
I demand an update ... a final belly shot or a baby picture of Harrison!! something... now... please...
