fyi: you are about to read a untechnical rant by a non savvy computer user who wants to use every curse word while breaking stuff (don't say you weren't warned):
I'm getting ready to take a baseball bat to either this computer or go down to adobe systems and get to the root of the problem.
my computer has "had a problem and restarted" no less than 50 times in the last 24 hours! usually during a post, making a slide show, or leaving a comment. you know, things that have to be RE DONE because now they are lost. i have commented on many of your blogs, comments you will never read my witticism that i have painstakingly left you. I'm so sorry, blame stupid adobe!!!
it always says it's adobe flash's fault. i even un-installed it. no change. restart. restart. restart.
is it possible to go crazy due to Internet connection.... or lack there of????
even Dave's computer is doing this! I'm gonna scream!
really? is it just me????

whoah! I'm feeling your pain... I wonder what it could be? Hmmm..... maybe there's an answer in this forum?

Sorry dude... Computers rock and stink all at the same time... If you need a big hammer I think I could scrounge one up for you!
thanks, in the middle of reading the forum, you will never guess.
restart!!
I'm going to go pray about this, I hate to bother any of the big guys about this, do you think JC has tech support???
I don't know, but the hammer idea has a lot of appeal at times like these...
I wish I could help. I wonder if it's an internet thing or Adobe thing, or a combination of the two, or an operating system bug (vista or XP), or the player wasn't completely uninstalled, or what... computers....
I don't know what to tell you. You said both computers are doing this though? Hmm...are you sure it's not your internet? I hate computer problems!!!!
I feel your pain as well...it almost sounds like a connection issue...since both computers are doing it....I have always wanted to take a baseball bat to mine when it messes up...I wish I had answers for you....
I of course have all the answers for you but am choosing to keep them to my self cause you know I hate to brag about how much I know about the computer..... HA HA HA HA HA!
You want Chad to call you?
I usually just shake my fist menacingly. It doesn't work, but it makes me feel like I've paid my anger forward.
I don't understand anything about computers. It's part of my whole learned helplessness schtick.
I read your warning yet was intrigued to read on. Where was all the cursing?
My husband is a computer systems admin. and he says he's never heard of adobe doing this before. If it persists you can do a systems restore to the date before the problem began so that whatever made it happen will be wiped off. (Anything you've installed after that day will also be wiped off.)
Hope that helps. Good luck!
WOW you are much calmer than I...whenever I've had a computer problem (that I can't fix myself) I've thrown the damn thing away and bought a new one! Truly its easier then dealing with a geek squad. Maybe santa will bring you a MAC- they are superior~
