the most discreet way to keep a secret

at 11:00 this morning (you know when I rolled out of bed.... what I was tired and didn't have to go to work - don't judge, you'll overlook it here in a moment) and thought "hey i haven't taken a pregnancy test in 7 days, that could be depressing. let's do it!" I was just at the Dr. last week and he verified i wasn't pregnant (when I questioned why my body is acting weird, his response was "have you ever been this old before?" I told him "there is no need to get rude about it!")

well i have taken, dozens and dozens of these technical little gems so I'm what you may call a "pee-fessional". anyway not the point, point is they are always negative. just that one solitary lonely line mocking me, calling me old and fat, and some other things that are not blog appropriate. I've come to despise these little hope killers so much i won't even buy them at a pharmacy anymore. nope, at $10 a shot, just to kick me right in the uterus, forget it. so now i just grad a handful at the dollar store and stick it to the $10 a stick man!

so as these types of things should be kept private and a secret I won't say another word. (I'll just show you the picture text that got sent to a few, well some, maybe several people)

Congratulations you guys! We're so happy for you.

Your secret-keeping skills are akin to your nunchuck skills, though...

Congratulations!! I hate those pee sticks. They are ALWAYS negative for me. Ok, not always. I had 2 that were positive and those were the ones I miscarried. Lovely huh? Anyway, that's wonderful news. I hope all goes well with your pregnancy!

Congratulations!

My daughter always asked her friends, "So, have you pee'd on a stick yet?" I see the "pee stick" name is alive everywhere.

CONGRATULATIONS! You know, I always thought those pee sticks were so COMPLICATED. I had to buy the ones that say "PREGNANT" or "NOT PREGNANT" in plain English across them. I remember when we found out we were pregnant with Scarlett, Joe went to go check the test after we left it sitting, and brought it to me with tears in his eyes, he was so happy we were having a baby.
